Description

If you are looking for an unforgettable adventure in Croatia, you should definitely consider exploring the island of Dugi Otok and Kornati National Park on a full-day speedboat tour from Zadar. This tour will take you to some of the most stunning sights and hidden gems of the Adriatic Sea, such as Sakarun Beach, Shipwreck, Golubinka cave, Lojena Beach, Mana Island and more. Here is what you can expect from this amazing experience:

You will meet your friendly and experienced skipper at the dock in Zadar. You will receive a safety briefing and some snacks, sodas, and water to keep you hydrated during the day. Then, you will set off for your first destination: the Lagnići cliffs on Dugi Otok island.

The Lagnići cliffs are impressive rock formations that rise up to 80 meters above the sea level and plunge into the deep blue water. You will have a chance to admire the natural beauty of these cliffs and take some amazing photos. You will also see the Veli Rat lighthouse, the tallest lighthouse in Croatia, which stands on the northern tip of Dugi Otok.

Next, you will head to the shipwreck of the Italian cargo ship “Michelle”, which sank in 1983 near Sakarun Beach. This shipwreck is now a popular diving site, as it hosts a variety of marine life and coral formations. You will be able to snorkel around the wreck and explore its secrets, or simply enjoy the crystal-clear water and the white sandy beach of Sakarun.

After some swimming and relaxing, you will continue to Golubinka cave, a spectacular sea cave on the west coast of Dugi Otok. The cave has an underwater entrance that leads to a spacious chamber with a small opening on the ceiling that lets in some sunlight. You will be able to snorkel through the cave and marvel at the azure color of the water and the rock formations.

The next stop is Lojena Beach on Levrnaka Island, one of the most beautiful beaches in Croatia and part of Kornati National Park. This beach has fine white pebbles and turquoise water that create a stunning contrast with the green vegetation and the rocky landscape of the island. You will have some free time to swim, sunbathe, or explore the island on foot.

After Lojena Beach, you will cruise to Vrulje bay, a sheltered cove in Kornati National Park where you can have some lunch. You can choose from several restaurants that offer fresh seafood and local specialties, or bring your own picnic if you prefer. You will also have some time to wander around the small village of Vrulje and see how the locals live.

The last stop of the tour is Mana Island, one of the most famous islands in Kornati archipelago due to its remarkable cliffs and its history of being used as a shooting location for several movies. You will see the remains of an old fishing village and a Roman villa that were built for filming purposes, as well as some stunning views of the sea and the surrounding islands.

18:00 – return to Zadar

You will end your tour with a scenic ride back to Zadar, where you will say goodbye to your skipper and your fellow travelers. You will return with unforgettable memories and photos of your adventure in Dugi Otok and Kornati National Park.
